About Holocron
A whole robot from one description, not just a part.
Holocron Engine designs the mechanics, the electronics, the code and the simulation together, so they fit each other from the first sketch to the first print.
01 Why it exists
Robots fail between the tools
The body is drawn in one program, the wiring in another, the firmware in a third and the simulation comes last, if at all. A servo that looked fine in CAD turns out too weak. A board doesn't fit. The code doesn't match the pins.
02 How it works
AI designs. Algorithms check.
Physics decides.
AI proposes
From your words it picks a form, actuators, a controller and sensors — the way an engineer would sketch a first version.
Code verifies the facts
Torque, mass, fit, pins and power are calculated, not guessed. When a number doesn't work, you see it.
Simulation proves it
The robot drives, walks or reaches in MuJoCo, and the firmware runs on a virtual board before you buy a single part.
03 Learned from real robots
Proven designs over clever guesses
Holocron studies how real open robots are built — where the motors sit, how legs are linked, how the electronics are stacked — and starts from what already works.
04 Built on open source
Thank you to these projects
Holocron stands on tools made by research labs and communities. We use them as they are meant to be used and credit them here.
05 What we stand for
Honest numbers, open files
We are not trying to replace Fusion or Onshape. Holocron connects the parts of a robot that usually live apart — and then gets out of your way.
- 01If it won't work, we say soToo weak a servo or too small a battery is shown plainly, with a fix.
- 02Your files leave with youURDF, STL, FreeCAD, parts list and firmware — download everything.
- 03Built with the people who build robotsEvery feature is tested on real projects and shaped by builders' feedback.
