How AI cost works
Most of Holocron Engine is deterministic: the drive selection, the 2D plan, the structure, the fasteners, the physics test and the firmware are computed, not generated, and cost nothing. Four places talk to a language model:
- Concept conversation, typically a few cents.
- Structure assembly with AI (optional; the algorithmic structure is free), tens of cents.
- Exterior design rounds, a few cents each.
- Code assistant edits, tens of cents including compilation and one fix round.
Each run shows its estimated cost before you confirm and the actual cost after. Each has a hard budget that stops the run before it overspends. No monthly surprise.
Questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. The free plan needs only an email address. A card is required only when you top up an AI budget or move to Pro.
What counts as a project?
One robot, with all its steps and revisions. Deleting a project frees the slot.
Who owns the designs?
You do. Files you download are yours to use, modify and sell. See the terms.
